# Authentication

Credentials are generated exactly as for the OpenAPI - see [Authorization](https://developers.tidio.com/docs/openapi-authorization). Generate them in the [Tidio Panel](https://www.tidio.com/panel/settings/developer) under `Developer > OpenAPI`.

Every request must carry both headers:

| Header                          | Description                                      |
| ------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| `X-Tidio-Openapi-Client-Id`     | Application identifier, always begins with `ci_` |
| `X-Tidio-Openapi-Client-Secret` | Secret key, always begins with `cs_`             |

Unlike the OpenAPI, no `Accept: application/json; version=1` header is required.
