# Data Availability

This page covers three things that determine what you'll see when you query: how fresh the data is, how long it's kept, and how to tell what's changed since your last pull.

## Freshness

Data is loaded once a day. The previous day's data becomes available at approximately **10:00 UTC** the following day. Querying for "yesterday" before 10:00 UTC will return nothing - the most recent complete day is the day before that.

| Now (UTC) | Latest day available |
| ---------------- | -------------------- |
| 2026-08-20 04:00 | 2026-08-18           |
| 2026-08-20 11:00 | 2026-08-19           |

Because of this, schedule extracts for **after 10:00 UTC**, and treat the current day as always incomplete.

## Retention

Data is kept indefinitely. Nothing expires or is rolled up over time. Rows disappear only when the underlying record is deleted from your Tidio account - for example a contact erased under a GDPR request - in which case it is removed from the Analytics API too.

## Freshness per table

Each row carries an `_updated_at` timestamp recording when the warehouse last wrote it, which is distinct from the business timestamp (`created_at`, `time_sent`, `period_date`). Use `_updated_at` for incremental syncs:

```bash
curl "https://taa.data.tidio.com/ticket_details?_updated_at=gte.2026-08-19T00:00:00Z&limit=1000" ...
```
